Absolutely excellent food (homemade soups scones to die for! Well done Sylvia. Very good prices. Lovely, friendly, helpful staff. Love all the signs up in the café too.

Visited with friends today for breakfast. Super friendly staff, very clean cafe, so much choice. Food hot and served quickly. Then some cakes to take away. Omg amazing baking. Can't wait to visit again.

Dropped by for breakfast, friendly staff and nice setting. Went back again for cake and a scone few days later. Good selection of cakes and tasty. Would definitely recommend if looking somewhere for a bite to each in coniston. Ver carta

Coniston is a great village to visit and the Green Housekeeper Cafe is a perfect place to have lunch. The friendly, pleasant staff, were welcoming and efficient. A great menu with excellent food and coffee at very reasonable prices. Highly recommended.

Lovely cafe! We have been there every morning since arriving on our holiday and will continue to till we leave. The staff are very friendly and welcoming! The food is really good, giving you plenty of options to choose from and the drinks are always lovely too!

A wonderful friendly cafe. We went for coffee and cake. There was a wide range of great cakes. I had the cherry and bakewell sponge, it was delicious. The coffee was excellent and a full mugful. My husband was thrilled with his whole pot of tea and chocolate cake. It was very good value and the staff were delightful. The homemade soups looked delicious too Ver carta

We were staying up the road in a place that didn`t do breakfast and the owner recommended the Green House Keeper to us. It`s a lovely little place, with really friendly staff and we had a mix of cooked breakfasts and breakfast buns. All of them were lovely and incredible value compared to some of the other places in Coniston. Without doubt, the Green House Keeper has to be the best place for breakfast in Consiton.

What a lovely cafe. Family of 7 all had an amazing breakfast. The vegetarian sausages were the best we've ever had, the meat breakfast was also super. The Jam with the teacake was a delight. Really friendly service. comepteitively priced. defintiely recommend. We had to pay by cash as the card machine wasn't working. Seriously worth the effort of going to the garage to get out cash, honestly you won't regret it. we also tried the beatiful cakes too; chocolate cake and lemon drizzle cheescake. Almost worth driving another 8 hours to visit this cafe again.

My husband and I visited for lunch. We both had different types of soup. They were obviously both home made and were so tasty! The servings were large and came with home made bread which we couldn’t even finish. Our coffee and tea , which came in pot with a knitted tea cosy , were hot and freshly brewed. The scones with jam and cream were absolutely delicious! All this came at a very reasonable price and with friendly service! I’d left my mobile phone on the table and the staff kept this safe for me until I returned to pick it up. I really appreciated this honesty. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this little gem to anyone! Ver carta
