"We have enjoyed the Sunday carvery at this restaurant twice now and it is definitely one of the best ones we have tried in Newquay, Cornwall. There are three choices of meat to choose from, as well as a vegetarian option. My wife and I ordered our meals at the bar and were then taken to our table. We made our way to the carvery counter where we both had the beef - three thick, perfectly cooked slices each. The roasted potatoes and vegetables were delicious, and the gravy was fantastic. We would highly recommend the Griffin Hotel for a meal - it is a lovely place with great customer service. If we lived in Cornwall, we would definitely make this our Sunday dinner spot. It's good to know where to go for a great meal and excellent service."

The carvery provided a variety of meats, stuffing, and Yorkshire pudding, along with a selection of 6 delicious hot vegetables including a tasty cauliflower cheese, flavorful roast potatoes, and dauphinois with a choice of meat or vegetable gravy and sauces. We will certainly be returning again.

The Griffin is the best Carvery I have ever been to. The meat is incredibly fresh and cooked to perfection. The pork and beef are absolutely amazing. It's also great value for the quality of food you receive. I've been there once this year and three times last year, and it never fails to impress.

Visited for an early evening Sunday carvery. Choice of 4 meats ,I had the roast beef which was pink and cooked to perfection. My wife chose the Turkey and had the smaller plate option. The choice of vegetables were numerous. The overall satisfaction was that good we booked again for the next Sunday. Ver carta

We visited the Griffin Inn twice whilst on holiday in Newquay. Beautiful homemade food, lovely, friendly staff. We came here in Covid and it was nice, but no restrictions makes it even better. Worth a visit if you come to New Quay. 2 Sirloin Steaks and a btl of any wine £39.95 great value. Will definitely come here again.

Excellent Sunday carvery meal , everything cooked beautifully, beef that melted in your mouth , plenty of vegetable including parsnips , roasties , cabbage , peas and lots more , all nice and hot , I think they must make their own apple sauce as large chunks of apple delicious, be aware that booking is advised as it’s very popular and excellent value , they also do a steak night where you get 2 sirloin steaks and a bottle of wine for under £40 , They have seating outside for you to have a drink or a bite to eat , just watch out for the seagulls. Can’t wait to come back in the week for a meal
