Lovely place but the service was slow and our main meals were rather cold!

Fantastic food and brilliant service from the restaurant and bar staff, nothing was too much trouble.

Everything was ok just with waiting that we had to ask about times to get what we want I think the waitressing need bit more training . Ver carta

We had a fantastic afternoon tea for five . We ordered for four as we had two kids with us out of the five and there was loads left over which we took home . Highly recommend !

Great meal in a great atmosphere served on hot plates which is always a good sign of a great restaurant, the only downside was, we were sitting in the second rows of seats underneath the triangle roof and it was very dark, even hard to read the menu if we had of been seated on the first row or around the edge visibility would have been better , but a thoroughly great meal and great value for money ?

Food was lovely but service very slow and had to ask for drinks menu several times . Child's meal was served on a very hot plate and peas were in a cast iron pot which was also burning hot , this could have caused a serious burn to a child . I asked for a cold plate which when the waiter brought it he said its slughtly hot but that is the coldest one we have . ???. Breakfast in the morning was very unorganised with stocks of food running low and took a while to be replenished . Had to ask several time for red and coffee . On our first day after finishing our meal, we decided to relax in the lounge area with a coffee, only to find a group discussing youth sports awards. Their conversation escalated into a full-blown argument, with people shouting about Facebook posts and various issues. Breakfast is also served at this restaurant. Although there were notices indicating that the plates would be hot, on both mornings they were actually stone cold. The breakfast selection was lackluster; muesli wasn't available, and eggs (except for scrambled) had to be ordered separately, which you only discovered after you'd already filled your plate with other items. When we requested to move because the music was too loud, we were told it was being turned down, but no one offered to relocate us. The manager seemed more concerned with the booking app and future reservations than providing good service and appeared to doubt that we would pay. The waitress was forgetful, neglecting to bring utensils and taking a long time between the main course and dessert. She even dropped a wafer of ice cream on the floor and didn’t replace it. Our drink order was wrong, and both the carpet and chairs were dirty, which made for an awful dining experience. The only redeeming quality was that the food was acceptable. When we asked to be moved due to the loud music, we were merely told it would be turned down, with no alternative table offered. It seemed the manager was more focused on reservations and the restaurant's app rather than on providing good service. The waitress seemed untrained and forgot to bring utensils, there was a long wait between our main course and dessert, and she even dropped a piece of ice cream on the floor without replacing it. Our drink order was incorrect as well, and the cleanliness of the carpet, chairs, and cutlery was disappointing.
