I had a terrible dining experience here. The batter on the fish was thick and overcooked. The mixed grill was completely burnt. I have been a customer here for years and usually had a decent meal, but after this visit, I will not be returning. I sent a complaint email, but never received a response.

The staff at the restaurant were extremely friendly and provided quick service. Our server suggested the roast beef Sunday dinner, which was delicious and a great value considering the large portions. We definitely plan on returning soon. Fantastic team, had the hunter's chicken and it came on a brioche bun. There was a salad garnish and slaw also fries. I can honestly say it was the nicest chicken I've had in a long time, succulent and tender, keenly priced as well. Would recommend. We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance and we are so glad we did. The service was excellent and the menu was easy to understand when ordering. They offer a great selection of beers including Hahn. We highly recommend trying the haggis croquettes, stew, fish and chips, and the fresh fish of the day. We had a wonderful dining experience overall.

I had a wonderful dining experience tonight at The Stables Stenhousemuir. The atmosphere was lovely, the food was served hot, and the staff were very friendly. I will definitely be returning. I am not a vegetarian, so I cannot comment on the vegetarian options, but I thoroughly enjoyed my starter of cauliflower in tempura batter. The parking was good with plenty of spaces, although it may be slightly dark if arriving later in the evening. Wheelchair accessibility seems to be good, with a ramp to enter and all areas on the bottom floor being flat. The service was for dining in. Ver carta
