"Have lived in the area forever and the Grosvenor has always been one of ours, and our neighbours’, local go to pubs. Over the past few months it has just gone downhill. The food used to be quite nice (the lunch deal was especially good). It now seems to be reheated frozen food: very sloppy with no taste. The drinks are quite high for the area. Service is okay but staff aren’t really interested apart from when the manager is about. You’d think they would have pulled out all the stops following the closure for mice infestation. Sad to pass by daily and see it empty. I suppose people have voted with their feet and gone elsewhere."

I adore this pub. The beer is excellent, the staff is friendly, the service is top-notch, the food is delicious, and the atmosphere is great. It's the perfect spot for watching sports, grabbing a quick drink, or enjoying a meal.

I had an excellent meal at this restaurant, which was beautifully presented, and the service from Chris and his team was wonderful. The menu has clearly been upgraded, with everything made fresh and nothing coming out of a freezer. I highly recommend this place. Ver carta

Came here on Sunday and got the roast pork sandwich. Food was excellent! Great range of beers. The staff were super great in catering for my dairy allergy! (The brioche buns are accidentally vegan so that was an instant 10/10!! also, the crispiest, most delicious roast potatoes I’ve had eating out! : can’t wait to come back and try the roast dinner. Lovely atmosphere and a nice little garden out the back which was is a great sun trap on a sunny day. Thank you!

A great place for a Saturday (or any day of the week) lunch. The squid was cooked perfectly, melt in the mouth sensation! My husband had an open steak sandwich, which was cooked exactly as ordered, but what was amazing apart from the service, was he really wanted some soup. As you may know to order soup for lunch is not enough to fill you up, but too much to have as a starter, The Grosvenor has solved this conundrum…. With some of the food you can have the choice of the usual sides that you may want, but also the option for a mini cup of soup! Perfection for lunchtime!
