We enjoyed a Great value lovely turkey roast Christmas lunch. Great bar staff. Highly recommend this pub/restaurant.

The staff at this restaurant are lovely and friendly, and the food is excellent. The service is very efficient and the atmosphere of the old pub is welcoming. This place is so good that you need to make a reservation before going.

We parked here overnight in our motorhome (Britstops) and had a warm welcome from the landlord and barmaid. We enjoyed large portions of well cooked food and the service was friendly and efficient. We look forward to a return visit. Ver carta

booked a table for me and my wife at the arrival the personal, where very friendly we were shown on our table directly before the selection of the food was very much gluten free vegetarian- vegan meals. the portions are large, there are also light bites and child menus as well as dogs are welcomed.

Three of us went for lunch recently. It was very quiet for a Tuesday but that suited us. All of our meals were excellent. I had a nice pork chop which was cooked very nicely. The desserts were excellent and the member of staff who looked after us was very good. We will definitely return in the future.

Enormous portions, I have a small appetite so asked for a smaller portion, waitress said fine, but I still got a normal portion size, only a slight annoyance. and obviously paid for normal size portion) But I do think pubs should consider smaller and regular portion sizes. The restaurant was not too crowded and had a wide-ranging menu with a good variety of options for vegetarians. The service was decent. However, our main disappointment was that none of the menu items included vegetables other than peas. While they did offer salad, it was disappointing to see no other vegetable options incorporated into the dishes. Because of this issue, we can only give it 4 stars.

A very friendly pub with an extensive menu. We ate here twice on holiday as we were so impressed. The portions are generous, the onions rings were a particular hit. There is a great range for gluten free diets. The staff were great with the children who enjoyed playing in the little garden and looking at the pond. The service is not quick, but it didn't bother us. We will eb back over Christmas. It is our new favourite.

we live in front of the place and love the huntsman and hounds. we often eat here and everything is always top quality, delicious and cooked to perfection. portion sizes are huge, everything is delicious, piping hot and it is one of our favorite to eat. there is a large selection on the menu and specialities as well as theme evenings throughout the week. my wife has zöliakie, so follows a gluten-free diet. there is always a large selection of gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan dresses available.
