The Inn Dining - Carta

The menu choice is fabulous, food excellent. We ate there 3 times during our stay to Goathland. Staff friendly, very accommodating and nothing is too much trouble.

The title of the review sums it up perfectly! The restaurant is very busy, so it's best to avoid going at 6:30pm when it's crowded with other diners, including us!

This bar and restaurant is fantastic. The staff are super friendly and make you feel right at home. It's a nice change from the terrible place we stayed across the road. I highly recommend it!

Varied menu of high quality produce and very thoughtful staff. Nothing is too much trouble. On the MENU although one to avoid would be a Barnsley Lamb more of a Bony M otherwise splendid fayre here.

My partner and I enjoyed a dinner, bed, and breakfast package at this restaurant. The deal included a two-course dinner, with both of us opting for a starter and main course. Although the dessert menu looked enticing, we were too full to indulge. I started off with a beautifully presented and flavorful smoked salmon and prawn cocktail. Ver carta

Had an evening meal here on Tuesday night and was really impressed of how welcoming they were to myself and my dog. All the staff made a real fuss over my dog. They’ve got a great space outside with a few tables outside the front of the restaurant and a big garden with tables. Inside is lively as well. Food was good and not overpriced I had the chicken and chorizo scotch egg to start and the steak pie. Both very nice.

We are staying in Goathland at a different hotel but this was the only place we could find offering a Sunday Roast is the evening menu. After a days walking a Roast was definitely necessary, if not essential. Walked in and thought we had entered a low cost carvery. First looks and all that. But the roast was simply superb. Extra gravy and veg were delivered without need big to ask. The condiments were also provided within a minute of being requested. So top food and top service and we were delighted. Will come back as the menu offered other great dishes and they only specials to boot.

Having checked in at a local BnB we needed somewhere to eat that evening…..Gill our host tried to ring here but they were busy so didn’t answer and she suggested that we call in to see if they were able to fit us in….. On arrival at the Inn, we were greeted in a friendly professional manner and the young man (sorry I didn’t get your name) who I think is a duty manager, said we could have a table in 3/4 hour, so that was a result. We sat and had a drink and perused the menu, made our selection and by then the table was available. We chose garlic mushrooms, cod goujons, hake and a vegetable wellington all washed down with a tasty Rose. The food, service and ambience was very good. We called in... Ver carta
