The Italian Cotto - Carta

Absolutely amazing food! Last night of our holiday and it ended up being the best meal we had. Lovely staff and such good food. Very good value for London. Thanks for a lovely evening

I have visited Cotto a number of times, most recently last month and have always had an excellent meal with great service. There is lots of variety on the menu and also a great range of drinks. Having had some great experiences there, I am going to take my wife and daughter this week (my wife is gluten free so she will be well catered for). It’s worth booking as it fills up quickly.

Our last night of a two-week vacation, and my husband found this gem on Trip Advisor. Around the corner from our hotel, we were greeted warmly by the owner, Lino. had us come back an hour later as there were no tables available, so we did just that. Came back and got a sweet little table. The food was outstanding and the service excellent. It was a perfect ending to our trip in England, and we loved the owner. So warm and friendly. Ver carta

The best meal (the pasta oh my... I can't stop thinking about it! Completely delicious and like being hugged from the inside), wine and welcome service. Like being in Italy! We were so happy. Seriously wonderful lunch that we'll remember for a long time and we will definitely be back. My daughter and partner are coeliac and were very comfortable and happy too. The owner and staff are so lovely. If I lived closer I'd be there too much!!

Amazing place where the owner is coeliac. Pretty much every item can be made gluten free. Owner was very friendly and even spent a good 15/20 minutes talking to us at the end which was lovely! Food was amazing and portions were a good size, I even had to take half my main home! Great place to get the pasta you can’t usually get gluten free in restaurants and so many choices of desserts. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be returning to try the pizzas!

Being gluten free usually means that it's difficult to find somewhere to eat with a good selection of food. However, at this restaurant, everything is gluten free, and it has an amazing range of Italian food. I was given a very warm welcome and all of the staff were really friendly. I had the spaghetti carbonara and it was absolutely superb. I had a bit of a nosy at what other diners were eating and everything looked really good. I'm so glad that I've found this restaurant and I will definitely be back. Ver carta

Myself coeliac self and 2 muggle friends had a meal superb here before going to see Witness for the Prosecution at County Hall. What a treat! We had a very warm welcome from the owner (who is also coeliac and knows what he is talking about). All the food was delicious. We had home made tortellini and mine came with a little gluten free sticker. I felt very reassured especially having some awful experiences at other restaurants. My friends loved their gluten food too and we will be back! Also, the warmed gluten free bread at the beginning (made by the owner) was to die for .

We were greeted by the owner after booking a last minute table for 6. He was really friendly and had a great sense of humour, having banter with us for being late. All of the food was amazing and i have never seen a calzone pizza the size of the one that one pf our party ordered. My carbonara was the best I have ever had and i have eaten a few over the years as it is my favourite. This place has a lovely charm about it and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. I feel as though the food is underpriced for the quality and portion size. We would definitely go back again

I throughly enjoyed my recent visit to this restaurant. A warm welcome was received upon arrival and instantly you are made to feel welcome. There were so many gluten free options, that I struggled to decide on what to have. I went for the ravioli in the end. It was delicious. The rest of my family had different dishes and these all looked lovely. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Desserts again were lovely and I found the meal reasonably priced. We were not rushed to leave and all the staff were so friendly. I do love going to family run businesses rather than a restaurant chain. I can't wait to return to try out the rest of the menu.
