Great food and ambience in a historic building at the foot of Steep Hill in Lincoln. We celebrated our wedding anniversary there and the service was excellent. Highly recommended, but it is not cheap

For my wife's birthday, I wanted to make sure we had a memorable meal and I couldn't have chosen a better restaurant. The entire experience was perfect and we both thoroughly enjoyed it, making it a truly unique and special occasion.

This restaurant offers delicious modern European cuisine with unique Asian influences. The warm bread provided at the start set high expectations, and each course continued to impress. While the lamb was unavailable, the restaurant's commitment to quality sourcing led to a fantastic beef dish as a substitute. The desserts, including the white chocolate covered orange jelly, were memorable. Located in a historic area of Lincoln, it is a wonderful place to dine.

Booked the Jews House based on reviews as this was our first visit to Lincoln and I prefer not to wander around looking for somewhere suitable on the first night in a new place. The restaurant is cosy and feels quite intimate and my husband and I chose from the a la carte menu. Portions are small, but beautifully cooked and presented, and the warm 'bag' of bread would help those with larger appetites. The sommelier is hugely knowledgeable and very willing to offer suggestions if required. My husband and I eat well and regularly visit lovely restaurants.
