Can not believe we paid £13.75 for this day special with bacon and cheese charged as an extra! Awful food, overpriced is an understatement. I don't mind paying money for good food but this is just a rip off. Price per person: £10–20 Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

the worst burger I ever had in a restaurant and overpriced! we were served a dry piece of chicken between a dry and cold rolls with not even a little butter on the brot. no sauce, no cheese and no salad in the burger and for £15!!! bad table service too. will not come back. Ver carta

This country pub is located on the edge of Whitmoor Common and has a spacious beer garden. It's a great spot for a pit stop during a dog walk. The food is rated 4 out of 5, the service is excellent with a score of 5, and the atmosphere is cozy and inviting, rated 4 out of 5.

I have had much better experiences at this pub in the past, but this time was disappointing. The pub was not very busy, yet we had to ask multiple times for drinks and sauces. The food was average at best - the roast beef was a little tough, the roast potatoes were very hard, and the nut roast tasted strange. No one came to check on our meals, so we didn't want to bother them again. I had been looking forward to a Sunday roast all week, but I am now feeling a bit deflated. The price per person was £20-30.

I went to this restaurant for dinner last week. One of the meals (pie, mash, and vegetables) was satisfying and enjoyable, while the other dish had overly salty and lukewarm gammon. We alerted the waitress, who apologized for the issue. The pub was not very busy. The salad was tasty but had too much dressing, which I wasn't expecting. A lighter option would have been preferable. The menu was a bit limited, with a focus on fried foods, especially the tapas. I would have liked to see more healthy choices available. Unfortunately, I cannot provide a more positive review.
