"My work put me up here for a night while working away, a little bit off the beaten track but no complaints about the hotel, the staff were very welcoming and pleasant on arrival, during my meal and at breakfast. The food was great, I had the roast beef dinner and can honestly say it has been the best roast beef I've had in a while. The breakfast was also well cooked and presented in the morning. My room was comfortable and clean. The views were very good over the harbour, sun was out for a change so made it all the more enjoyable. I had a better sleep than usual not a great sleeper outside my own bed) as the bed was comfy and rooms quiet. All in all a very nice experience and would definitely pop in again, maybe try the delicious looking surf and turf the table next to me was enjoying Safety: Good sized carpark, suitable for my works van. Food drinks: The food was delicious and the menu looked great, pity I was on a work allowance Noteworthy details: Lovely views over the harbour from the rooms and the restaurant."

As no lift on offer stayed in a lovely room up a few flight of stairs. Unfortunately did not have superb view as from other rooms but met needs Very comfy and good size. I came to visit my family in Macduff and chose this hotel as I've stayed here before. The hotel is very well refurbished. It is clean and Tidy and the rooms are just perfect, cosy, comfortable and well designed. We'll what can i say about the staff.... simply amazing in every way. We cant thank them enough for there hospitality and friendliness. The food is lovely. There are beautiful views overlooking the harbour far into the distance of the East Coast. My daughter and i shall be returning next year most definitely. Nearby activities: There is alot to see in this beautiful part of the country. There is regular buses that take you from Aberdeen through to Inverness. Many beautiful little tow...
