"The staff were lovely and nothing was too much trouble. This really is a local gem and I always recommend it to my guests who stay in my holiday cottages. The food is great and I could have chosen anything off the menu so will have to go back again just to try something else. We had friends who had been with us before and they were very happy to be there again one year on. Dogs are also welcome. You really must try this pub as it is the least pretentious of all the eating places in the locality and the food is always good."

A lovely, quiet Cotswold pub that offers a warm welcome, friendly service, and delicious food. We made a reservation for ten people, including a baby, for lunch after our visit to the animal park.

I had a fantastic dining experience at this cozy pub. Both the quiche and the chicken and mushroom pie were outstanding. After encountering a lot of mediocre meals at pubs lately, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food here. The service was friendly and efficient as well. I will definitely be returning!

The Lamb inn offered a good menu choice in a lovely setting of traditional Cotswold masonry. The prices were good for the amount of food you received, and it was very tasty. The waitresses were very helpful, it did take a while to get the bill though and had to ask multiple times. A few more mins your head signs or softened door frame edges for the taller among us wouldn’t go a miss.

We had a lovely evening for a girls' dinner with delicious food and wine. The restaurant recently changed ownership last month, and the staff was wonderful. However, it’s important to call the pub directly to make a reservation. They had to search for a table for us because they had no record of our booking. We were not impressed with the previous owners or OpenTable, which allowed our reservation and even confirmed it again the day before, but failed to pass it on to the new owners.
