"We had a lovely warm welcome, waited a while for someone to come take our drink order, I ordered an ale, it tasted like it just turning. I had white bait for starters, It tasted very strong of the mud at deben River, needless to say I didn't eat it. I then ordered a coke to get rid of the taste wich tasted of water. I then complained, they were apologetic and had to change the syrup, then was better. I then had the 12oz ribeye, which looked like a 6oz which I couldn't eat due to being so hard to chew and a charcoal taste. I sent it back and waited for my partner to finish her processed meat roast and left very disappointed"

A disappointing evening generally. Two members of our party are vegetarians and were mistakenly served a meat based lasagna instead of the vegetable lasagna which they had ordered, their dishes were eventually replaced along with an apology from the waitress who had made a genuine mistake. No goodwill gesture was offered and we were very surprised to see that a “tip” of £4 was added to the bill.

A very disappointing lunch time. We had to wait nearly 40 minutes for our lunch. The pub wasn't particularly busy and there was only 1 family sitting outside although the waitress had said the delay was because there were so many people outside! it was a lovely sunny day but we were told we couldn't eat outside as there were too many of us (4 adults and 2 children)!! I have been to this pub before and never had such a disappointing time . Standards must be slipping.
