Went there for my wife's birthday meal, had a burger and cajun dusted chips! Absolutely delicious!

Delicious Sunday roast with a variety of vegetables, excellent roast potatoes, and a generous serving of Yorkshire pudding. Finished off with a delightful apple crumble and a cup of tea.

Always remembers I'm gluten free when ever i visit, never have to remind them, never had any issues with gluten contaminations. Food is lovely, service excellent this is why we keep going back. Highly recommend Ver carta

Highly recommended. We had a lovely birthday celebration here, with a table for 6. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Food was delicious with very generous portions. Prices are standard for pub/restaurants. We'll definitely return.

Amazing meal and service this evening for my daughters 21st birthday, nothing was too much trouble with special mention to Ruby front of house and Jack in the kitchen for the fabulous food, The lodge is always are go to as we know we will always get a great meal

The dining experience from beginning to end was fantastic. Our group of 18 was all seated and served delicious food, including 6 vegan meals. The prices were much more affordable than I expected. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and would visit again if in the area. Ver carta

Been to this restaurant a few times over the years with family &friends not sure what has happened we have been so disappointed the last 2 times Our meals were so long coming .The burgers were dry and cold .The pie the meat was so tough .No we didn't complain as we complained the last time to the waitress she gave no satisfactory explanation. Had a brilliant lunch today what been organised for the last couple of week for a surprise birthday for mum, the staff have been brilliant have help me with every need I have ask and even set the room up for me and it look perfect, the timing with mum coming in and when we got the food was perfect all our meal look and tasted amazing, I just want to say a big thank you to all the staff that has been involved you help me massively and made it lot less stressful for my self and made the surprise the best I could every though it could be so thank you Jade

I met up with a close friend from Dereham at this restaurant, where she is a regular. The servers were friendly and professional, even though we came together. Since we had already eaten a large lunch, we went straight for the main courses. I ordered the ribeye cooked medium rare, which was done perfectly and served with tomato, mushrooms, and plenty of chips. My friend Sue enjoyed the vegetarian lasagne. We ended the meal with ice cream and sorbet, making for a lovely evening. I highly recommend this restaurant for its excellent food and great value for money. Ver carta
