The Lovat Brasserie

My wife and I tried the tasting menu at this restaurant and it was absolutely extraordinary. In addition to the delicious food, the staff and overall atmosphere were fantastic.

Amazing food and service. Lovely atmosphere and location. Staff could not do enough to accommodate my gluten free dietary needs and did everything to make sure I felt reassured and cared for.

Our experience at Station Road at The Lovat was wonderful. The food and service were both amazing, and all the staff were top-notch, especially Tiff. She was extremely pleasant and knowledgeable about everything we asked. We highly recommend Station Road!

The combination of flavors in each tasting was creative and elegant, yet there was something of a basic core genuineness about it. It wasn't overly fussy. And the staff was just so warm and welcoming, not pretentious. It made our last evening a special event.

We had an amazing dining experience at Station Road! Staying at the hotel, we decided to enjoy a dinner treat at the restaurant and we were not disappointed. The ingredients were fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. The staff were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about the dishes. Both the food and service were absolutely flawless.

What an elegant surprise in Ft. Augustus. Our 7 course dinner of locally sourced ingredients was beautifully presented and delicious. The decor was lovely and comfortable making the 3 hour meal fly by. We matched the meal with a British Wine Pairing and were delighted with the quality of the lovely offerings. It was a perfect evening and worth the splurge.

Having dined at a few Michelin starred restaurants over the years, I would say this ranked up there with the best of them. We did the 3-course meal and were able to taste each dish. While the servings are a little on the small side, the desserts were large and everything was delicious. The service was excellent, specifically Liam in the bar was great. We had snacks in the bar the night before and he made our visits special each time. Dinner was expensive but worth every penny. If you get the chance to go, do it.

This restaurant is definitely not cheap, with prices starting at £60 for the three-course menu and £85 for the five-course menu. However, as they say, you get what you pay for. The restaurant on Station Rd excels on every level. The staff is incredibly friendly and provides top-notch service. We tried both menus on separate nights and were thoroughly impressed with the quality and presentation of the innovative dishes. This restaurant truly deserves a Michelin star rating. We had a wonderful experience and highly recommend Station Rd.

The food at Station Road, created by Sean and his team, is absolutely superb. We have stayed at The Lovat multiple times and dining here is always a fantastic experience. The menu is perfect, with highlights such as locally foraged mushroom dish with incredible textures. The apple mousse is light and delicious, and the treacle bread is always amazing. The venison is cooked to perfection, and the venison tartare is a great addition. The little potato dish was also delicious. The cucumber pearls on the trout dish are full of flavor, and the mousse encased in the leaf is packed with flavor. The pre-starter was a great way to set the tone for the meal.
