Went here for a catch up with friends. Lovely food, staff were friendly, can’t fault it!

Food was very good but could have been hotter. Service was poor. We had to get our own cutlery. No member of staff came to ask if everything was ok and our plates were not cleared away xx

A lovely birthday meal for my husband. Food was excellent. Staff were welcoming and very friendly! Our waitress Laura was very attentive and made sure we were well looked after! Definitely a place to visit again!

Sorry , but we left even before our drinks arrived.. Drinks menu fell apart in our hands., the food menu was wet and dirty, we also felt like we had been put in the quiet part of the restaurant out of the way... no for me. Sorry. Ver carta

We travel on a narrowboat, so for the last few years we stop to visit The Manor House. It is dog friendly , which for us is important. We didn't eat this time but in previous years we have and thoroughly enjoyed it. Great service from polite and efficient staff and a good range of drinks. Will be back on our way back down the canal.

Unfortunately this visit was a disaster. We arrived at 7pm it took 15 minutes before we were served, then another 20 minutes before our drinks came. We then waited a further 20 minutes for our starters (which were very good) and another 55 minutes before our main course. My husbands pizza had been sat on the counter for around 20 mins so was cold, my Sunday roast chicken was inedible, lumpy cold gravy, overcooked veg, chicken was rubbery and tasteless, I complained. The Staff were very apologetic and I was offered an alternative meal, which I declined, due to how late it was, however I did accept a free sweet which was delicious. We did not pay for my main meal. Such a Shame as it is a beaut...

Dined here last night and, we have to say, the experience was excellent! We were seated in the area at the back as soon as we arrived and our ordered drinks came very shortly afterwards. Food quality, quantity presentation was exceptional, and the service was prompt from drinks on arrival to the bill on leaving. Our server Connie was very pleasant, attentive obliging. One very minor disappointment was that they had run out of Fish Chips (partners choice) and a couple of others on the menu but that certainly wouldn’t deter us from visiting again! I had the Steak Ale pie, which was superb beautiful pastry filling and the mash was just the way I like it! I must say, we last ate here over 22 yea... Ver carta
