Absolutely fantastic food! We have visited on Sunday afternoon and three of us had Sunday roasts and one person had fish and chips. We have all thoroughly enjoyed our meals, service and atmosphere of the pub. We will definitely be visiting again . First visit here and it's a lovely building, full of character and a working water mill wheel. Restaurant has a nice ambiance and the staff were so polite and friendly, nothing was too much problem, great staff. Meal portions were good and food was enjoyable, the menu was varied so lots of choice of a good meal, traditional favorites cooked properly. Have award winning pies and a few to choose from. Prices are very good, and it didn't cost a fortune. I'll definitely be back. Service: 5

Arrived on the first night hoping for squid and fillet steak from the menu, neither available. Seabass risotto was somewhat bland and the salmon fishcakes were covered in mushrooms which I wasn’t expecting. Stayed for our second night which was “curry night” no lamb, no rogan Josh, despite being assured there was a full food delivery this morning. Service has been wonderful and staff have been outstanding. I feel really sorry for them when they have to say they have minimal dishes! A beautiful pub in a lovely location.
