The New Wellington - Carta

Had 2 dinners today everything fine on 1 dinner other dinner had no meat at all alot to pay for a plate of vegetables

This restaurant is more of a cozy carvery rather than a large, commercial one. It may be smaller in size compared to others, but it benefits from a personal touch.

The beef baguette and rotisserie chicken were absolutely delicious! We will definitely be returning next week. It was definitely worth the money. The staff members who served us were lovely. Ver carta

Had the Cauvery through Uber eats, good food plenty of it and delivered right on time, if this is their standard can't see me visiting another carvery once things are back to normal, far better than the big chains !!!!!!

Extremely rude staff Table only allowed 1 hour which we weren’t notified about ! Which mean we were forced outside to finish our drinks and if we wanted a pudding! Shocking !!!! Definitely won’t be returning Family birthday meal ruined

One of the best carverys we have had. Great choice of meat and veg, all hot and well presented. Staff very friendly and polite. Wish the plates were bigger because it was delicious. Great value for money. Will definitely be revisiting! Ver carta

I made a reservation online for 5.02.22, but when we arrived at the restaurant, it was closed. I was really disappointed that the online booking system was still active despite the closure. We even attempted to call to inform them that we were running late due to traffic, but the phone line was not working.

The food was fantastic (I had the sirloin steak), the atmosphere was relaxing and the staff were very friendly. I booked a table in advance and informed them that I have coeliac disease (requires gluten free food). When I arrived they told me that they cooked some roast potatoes separately to ensure they were gluten free which was very nice of them! Will definitely return in the future.

Went for the buffet breakfast. Everything was well laid out, with plenty of choice. Bacon was thick cut and tasty. Sausages were really nice and the black pudding cooked perfectly and good quality. Fresh and tinned tomatoes available, as were scrambled and fried eggs. I prefer plain bread with mine and it was brought out for me straight away. Pub was clean and tidy, and the staff were friendly. Toast and jam were also available as part of the buffet. Would definitely recommend. Ver carta
