We've been here 4 or 5 times and are never let down with the food and service.. Great staff.. Lovely English pub with home cooked meals and decent prices.. Highly recommended.. Friday is Fish and chips night and has a big two thumbs up. Ver carta

Nice boozer for darts. However £4 for a 330ml bottle of peroni zero is a tad over the top that equates to around £7 a pint. Hardly encouraging for a driver or anyone else not wanting an alcoholic beer. Especially as at wholesale they are 87p each.

The food at this restaurant was delightful, the service was outstanding, and the overall dining experience was fantastic. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed and were very attentive to our needs. Our waitress was lovely and made sure we were satisfied with our meal choices.

We had a post-funeral wake here this afternoon. The staff were lovely and couldn’t do enough for us and the buffet was varied, fresh and very tasty. It was a nice touch that the ? manager came out into the garden to say goodbye to us at the end of his shift and the chef provided boxes to take home some of the buffet leftovers. We appreciated the kindness and sensitivity of all the staff. Food: 5

I had a fantastic time at this restaurant. The pub has a warm and inviting atmosphere, with excellent real ale that is clearly well-maintained. The menu offers a good variety of options, and I was pleasantly surprised by the delicious fish finger sandwich I had for lunch. Overall, I was very impressed with this charming pub and appreciated how well it was managed. I look forward to returning soon for their Sunday roast. The price per person ranges from £1–10.

Such a great discovery! I have visited this restaurant multiple times in the past month and I absolutely adore it. The food is delicious and portion sizes are generous. The staff are all friendly and eager to engage in conversation. The Oak is a wonderful village pub that has something for everyone, including bingo on Thursday afternoons.
