The restaurant had a limited staff, but all our dishes arrived promptly and the food was delicious. I would definitely return again.

The restaurant offered excellent meals and service. We found it surprisingly quiet for a Friday night. Average price per person is £20-30. Food and service both scored a 5, while the atmosphere was rated a 4.

Lovely country pub with a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Friendly staff serving tasty food at good prices and a good selection of beverages. The staff were friendly. However, we were disappointed to receive French fries instead of the advertised triple-cooked chips and still be charged full price. The portion of hunters chicken was flat and half the size of what we had received a few months ago. It took a long time for our meals to be prepared, even though they were not peeling potatoes and the kids only had chicken nuggets. If you are looking for basic, but expensive food, it may be suitable for lunch. The price per person ranged from £10–20. Overall, we would rate the food a 2 out of 5 stars.

My two adult sons and I enjoyed a delicious three-course Sunday lunch on a very hot afternoon during the July 2022 heatwave. We had a reserved table in the shade, which was a welcome relief from the sun. The food was excellent and every staff member was incredibly polite. It was a great overall experience, from the different parking options at the beginning to the wheelchair access facilities at the end. The restaurant is located in a charming old building with plenty of character, but also has modern amenities. We will definitely return when in the area again. Ver carta
