I had the worst rib eye steak I've ever encountered at this restaurant. It was completely overcooked, extremely bitter, and poorly prepared. It’s clear that the chef lacks experience in preparing meat properly.

We recently celebrated our Christmas lunch here with a group of 22 people, and everything was fantastic. The food was delicious, the service was outstanding, and everyone had a wonderful time. Thank you very much for a great experience! Food: 5/5, Service: 5/5, Atmosphere: 5/5.

Myself and our family went out for Christmas dinner we had a lovely afternoon. Unfortunately to members of my family were unhappy with the food. And sent it back I would like to apologise for their shameful behaviour I had the same meal they had and it was lovely. Sorry again we will not be bringing them with us anymore. The burger and the pan-fried cod were excellent. Unfortunately, the roast dinners didn't quite hit the mark. The battered fish appeared appetizing, but I didn't get a chance to taste it. The crème brûlée was a bit overcooked but still enjoyable. The pavlova was pretty good. The drinks were delightful, and the atmosphere was just right. The service was outstanding. Although I don’t live in the area, I would gladly return the next time I'm nearby. Price per person: £20–30 Food rating: 4/5.

I booked the function room for my retirement party last Friday eve for 30 people there was plenty of seats space in the area which is not closed off to the bar area. I can only describe the buffet as excellent. Attentive staff and a special mention for James. The atmosphere in the whole building was lively assisted by a DJ playing well known songs. Went here with family 1st visit for a long time, very nice finish to the interior of the Pub itself. Very comfy surroundings and cosy atmosphere, open plan ceiling with lovely exposed wooden beams. Staff very attentive and shown to table quickly on arrival, was asked if we had any allergies before we ordered which was good. Not too busy for a mid week visit, but already had some shortages on the menu which is always a shame to hear. The menu is quite varied with good selection to accommodate most people.
