"There is something special about Thai food and I mean special in a very good way. I was told it was advisable to book, I did and when I arrived a little early it was apparent why. Every table was full and most of the customers were local. We were greeted by the manager/owner, a delightful gentleman who was apologising as there might be a 10 minute wait ... absolutely no problem whatsoever. As busy as they were he still found time to chat and even though he was the boss man , he was very much hands on and helping. The two waitresses were outstanding, we found the whole ambience perfect. Even the locals had time to talk and suggest dishes but to be perfectly honest, the food was that good I doubt you could make a wrong choice. Even though they were totally full, there was no silly wait for food either the starters or the main course and suffice to say, there was nothing and I mean nothing left on either plate. The plates were piping hot and we could not have wished for anything different. A busy restaurant says a lot about the venue and even more so when the majority of diners were local. Definitely will be returning and bringing friends. A fantastic evening out, delicious meal, friendly service, decent local diners what more is there to ask for ! Thanks, SteveB"

"I was staying nearby, and wanted a nice steak. The reviews were pretty good, so I thought I 'd give it a try. I didn 't book ahead, just turned up, but it was a Monday evening so it wasn 't that busy. Service was reasonably quick. I was seated in the bar with a menu, and someone came to take my order in a few minutes. A short while later (about 5-10 minutes? I was taken to my table.The food was good. I had creamy garlic mushrooms, which came with a couple of pieces of garlic bread. When I 'd finished, it wasn 't long till my main course arrived. I like my steak 'blue ', and it was! All in all a pleasant meal, although maybe slightly on the pricey side."
