"we went as a party of 6 and we all enjoy ourselves and eat. all staff were friendly and helpful, a good mix of attentiveness and let us to him. the cocktails were nice to begin, charcuterie board tasty, and sharing rib my partner and I had boiled to perfection. my mother doesn't eat steak and she said that the scallops begin, followed by the plaque were great. we couldn't finish it all so that the staff a bit left over steak, from which our 2 dogs also approved very well. I am happy to go back soon"

Atmosphere is great, dark walls and furniture, mood lighting, interesting pictures on the walls. Really nice food. Steak was lovely and tender. Nice, attentive staff.

the ox has a beautiful decoration and cozy atmosphere. for dinner I had steak (6oz d rump), chimichurri sauces and skin on fries. the taste of the steak was amazing. I strongly recommend this place.

first-class meal on Saturday. share carcuterie board, share steak and ice nice beer and wein. a real beautiful evening with delicious steak, cooked to our hairdryer in a real unpredictable restaurant

Quite simply the best Sunday lunch in Cheltenham! Two of us had the roast chicken, and one had a steak. All beautifully cooked. The staff went out of their way to assist with a dietary requirement that could have made things difficult, but if anything made it even better. Can’t wait to return.

I picked this place over all others for my steak experience. Having read the menu, it was Chateaubriand for me. WOW!!! what an amazing cut of meat, cooked to perfection and exactly what I wanted. Amazing staff and service. Special mention to member of staff who came out to check on me. Very much appreciated sir.

Went to this restaurant this evening and I was shocked at the quality for the prices. Paid the gratuity but I really didn’t want to. There is no doubt for prices they charge there is much better elsewhere. My partner struggled to eat her dinner!!! If you want over priced low standard food this is the place for you.

great service, divine steak. mixed bag on the side: mac 'n 'cheese and greens were beautifully made, but the big chips were disappointing (so that stale potato flavor, which is distinctly different than three times boiled taste) and gemstone salad was to fish for me. I would definitely go back for this steak, so juicy and full of taste!
