The atmosphere is nice and peaceful. The staff and locals are friendly. Enjoying Thatchers Gold while sitting on the grass was simply perfect.

The food was disappointing, with limited options, especially for vegetarian or vegan diets. They didn't even have any butter available. The service was lacking as well. It's a real disappointment.

Fantastic pub food. Visited 3 times in the space of a week and the food was spot on each time. Highly recommend the chilli or Lasagne. Great cask ales on draught. Very Friendly staff. Definitely coming back. Thank you!

This restaurant offers generous homemade dishes at very affordable prices. It's the ideal spot to stop for lunch on your way to the airport. I enjoyed the ham and chips, which featured delicious ham, perfectly cooked eggs, and the best chips I’ve had in ages. Let's start off with the bad bit , being on holiday in the area I could only manage one visit as the food was brilliant I choose my food off the board, a Spanish dish and loved it. Midweek and it was busy which says a lot for what they do. Hope to go back to the area and will make sure I visit again. Highly recommended we could see the food they were bringing out and it all looked very nice sadly I did not try the beer as I don't drink and drive at all not even a half pint.

I was hiking the West Mendip Way and stopped here for my first night after covering 12 miles. I was really grateful to find a place where I could rest my tired legs. They serve dinner until 7 PM, and you have the option of breakfast as well. The owners are very welcoming, and I couldn't have asked for more. It's convenient to have breakfast and dinner just downstairs. Overall, it's a perfect spot for anyone walking the West Mendip Way, especially at the end of day one of three (having started at Uphill, Weston Super Mare).

We went for lunch and there was a long wait for food, despite not being busy. However, it was cooked from scratch to order and tasted amazing. Customer service was a little iffy from a dour older woman behind the bar who didn't want us to take a menu outside to look at but everyone else was really friendly. The table next to us spuriously sent back a meal because it had a bug in it well, we were sitting outside so it was a real possibility it was going to happen and the staff took back the meal without complaining and provided a fresh one.
