a late breakfast for 7. all foods were freshly cooked and used good quality ingredients. the prices were good and the coffee was delicious!

Went here for a quick bite for lunch and really enjoyed it. Food was really tasty and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Hope to come back soon

perfect breakfast if it wasn't for the möwen! opened earlier than other breakfast spots in front of the site, which were good for us early. very hearty rolls and Scottish breakfast inc haggis and black pudding. delicious. good coffee and tee. beautiful day, so ate outside. but had to keep the birds in the eye!

I am a big lover of the pier. The food is always amazing and it’s one of my fave brunch spots. However, the service is incredibly slow with a really long wait time being served and after finishing food and waiting for the bill. It’s...frustrating and has happened multiple times. We were also waiting in the freezing cold to be seated for at least 20 mins. Food has also become expensive and I am disappointed. Such a shame as I used to love it so much

Visited The Pier with friends for lunch. The food was nice however, it is a shame for the rude, unwelcoming staff. We were told to stand outside for a table to be prepared for us despite the fact we had been standing inside being...ignored for 10 minutes prior. Once finally seated we were ignored for another 20 minutes before our order was placed. We were unfortunately made to feel like a nuisance and this has therefore made us feel nervous to return again in the future.

since the pandemic we were not here, our last visit was not so big, but so far high standards seem to have returned, fortunately, as we have been here in the last weeks twice. toasted croissant 2 poached eier for under a five. excellent value, meet the point. husband is a fan of her little breakfast option also said that the standard of this dish again up to where it was when we started coming here a few years ago. so glad that they look back on the fastness, is looking forward to the return.

We were really disappointed with the quality and portion size of the food. We went on two occasions (hoping the first time was just a fluke). On the two occasions, we ordered The House', Philly Cheese Steak', the special Duck Wrap' and a child's ‘Mac...and Cheese’. The steak in the sandwiches were so chewy, that we couldn't chew half of the meal. The special wrap had very little filing that they might as well of given us two plain wraps. The child's Mac and Cheese was slapped onto a plate – it would've been nice to add a little bit of veg or salad. We ate lunch here and the menu has plenty to offer and the food was good. However, the service was very disappointing. We were waiting inside without anyone approaching or even acknowledging us for 10mins when eventually one staff member told us to wait outside...while they cleared our table, during which they allowed other people that were in the queue behind us to remain inside. The manner in which we were told to do this was not very pleasant and it left us feeling a bit confused. The service was extremely slow, taking over 25mins to get our orders taken. When leaving they had merged our bill with another tables, which in fairness they did fix when we pointed out the error. However, when...

I’ve been here a few times and the service is dropping each time. The front of staff are really letting this place down as the food is always perfect and the coffee is great, however waiting staff are abrupt and to the point they make...you feel you’re not wanted or it’s a hassle to ask them for a napkin. We had to ask several times for basic things like cutlery, napkins, salt and each time met with abrupt yes or nod as they walked right past or we were met with “in a minute”. I asked if I could have 1 cappuccino from one lady as she was passing and was advised someone else will take my order. I then had to wait 20mins for someone else to come up with an iPad and to tell them it’s just 1 cap...
