"Our first time dining at The Plough and we loved it. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the pub was very pretty. There was a good choice of local, seasonal food on the menu. We shared a camembert starter which was tasty and enough for 3 of us. For main we all had venison done in various ways, two venison loins and one burger. The venison loin was cooked perfectly and it was no problem for my daughter to swap the mash for triple cooked chips. We were very tempted by the delicious sounding desserts but sadly had no room. The food was a bit pricey but for the quality it was worth paying a little more. I would definitely recommend The Plough and hope to visit again."

Good food, but if three big tables arrive at the same time, you may have to wait 50 mins or more for your food. However, when the food finally does arrive, it's worth the wait!

Taken care of very well by the landlord who found us the perfect table inside on a rainy day despite changing requirements... Great local beer on tap and the best alcohol free lager on tap also... v happy

Booked on line at the Plough which was very easy. It has been years since we had been there and have to say we were very glad we gave it another try. Guy and Joy were very friendly and along with the tasty steak dinners, we had a very enjoyable time.x
