"our waitress was flawless and the wee was a unguter chardonnay delicious. unfortunately the same could not be said for eating. the goat cheese parfait of my friend should have been much lighter, my calamari was crispy, but mostly crushed and our scallops were oily and overcooked. somehow the pea pee had been made to taste the same as the Beetroot pee! our divided eton measurement type pudding was far, but the minegues were also overwhelmed. overall it was disappointing. there were only three guests, including ourselves, how can this place survive? henfield really needs a top-end, quality restaurant for these special meals come, the george, they can be this place!"

First time been at the George and will be paying another visit for sure , staff very pleasant and helpful food was very pleasant on all counts

I just love The George! I didn’t grade them excellent this time because they made us wait 45 minutes even though we had a reservation. They seemed a little disorganized that evening. However, once seated, we thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

My husband I went to the George for an anniversary meal. We were so looking forward to it, as it had been a very long since we had dined out. Although the setting, ambience, and service was outstanding, and my meal was very nice, my husbands main course was inedible. The staff were very understanding and apologetic, and offered him something else, which he declined. They did not charge us for his meal, but it didn't really help the disappointment. However, we will try again and hope for a better quality meal.

There were only three guests, including ourselves how can this place survive? Henfield really needs a top end, quality restaurant for those special meals come on, The George, you can be that place!
