Our second visit to the Poet and the food and service didn't disappoint.

Always have wonderful food. Venison just pulled apart. The bream was good. Slightly expensive.

A very interesting menu with good choices for each course, beautifully cooked and served in a friendly and efficient way. The venison was exceptional.

Chef Lee worked in different places before coming back to the UK. Food is above standard with reasonable price. Comfortable environment and staff are really friendly.

This restaurant is superb on all levels quality of food, creativity of dishes, presentation and friendliness and professionalism of staff all result in a really great dining experience. They always try and accommodate individual needs. You can enjoy as a casual lunch after a dog walk or a Saturday night out with friends or a date. Definitely one of our favourites. Highly recommend.

We had a fantastic dining experience at The Poet to celebrate my sister's 50th birthday. Chef Lee and his team prepared an incredibly delicious meal. Some of my personal highlights were the Carrot terrine Amuse Bouche, the Asparagus starter (which was so good that I ended up sharing with my husband), and the Tartiflette side that accompanied the pork belly. Every dish was delightful and it was evident that a lot of effort and skill went into crafting and cooking them. Our entire group had a wonderful evening. A big thank you to the entire team at The Poet!

We had a wonderful family evening at The Poet to celebrate my 50th birthday. The entire staff greeted us warmly and made it a truly memorable and festive night. The recommended cocktail, a raspberry gin sour featuring local brands, was delicious. The menu had an interesting twist on desserts and used locally sourced produce, resulting in fresh and flavorful dishes. It was difficult to choose a favorite element, whether it was the fresh local asparagus with crunchy toppings, the intriguing flavors in the amuse bouche, the succulent pork belly, or the perfectly gooey chocolate fondant with salted caramel popcorn.
