We dined here and found the food to be clearly microwaved – the taste was unmistakable. The pizzas seemed to be frozen rather than fresh. However, the service was excellent and hardworking, so I’m giving my stars solely for them.

I had a wonderful dinner experience. The menu offered something for everyone, including options for my vegan family members. The staff were very accommodating and great with children. Everything was handled very professionally. I also appreciated their understanding when I had to cancel our next booking due to illness.

It was the worst hotel in terms of room on my trip. Bathroom clean and modern. I wonder which hotel rooms are referred to on the website? Breakfast was the best of all the hotels. Stayed here a few times rooms are excellent, usually I eat here aswell. The last time I stayed I got the amazing mixed grill. On my last none staying visit it was off the menu. Which my brothers found amusing, as I went on about it none stop. The excellent steak pie softened the blow. Great hotel and restaurant friendly helpful staff.

We were booked here by the organizer as part of a tour. Rooms are large and very clean. Of course, the floor creaks in an old house and you wouldn't want to have a snoring neighbor. I visited this restaurant for coffee and cakes with my 92-year-old mother. We had to wait inside by the door for at least 10 minutes without any acknowledgment from the staff. Eventually, I had to ask a waitress to seat us because my mother couldn’t stand any longer. She went off but never returned. I was very disappointed with the service, so we decided to leave and likely won't be coming back. Ver carta

I stopped by for a light lunch with a friend, so I can't speak to the rooms. We both ordered a bacon and egg roll, which was well-cooked and presented beautifully, fitting for such a nice dining space. The staff were friendly and polite; however, it seemed like there were more servers than necessary for a mostly empty dining room in the middle of the afternoon. Overall, I would say it was perfectly fine, but since we were only there for a quick bite, it wouldn't be fair to provide a detailed critique. We went to the restaurant for a meal on Saturday night and for the first time visiting the Priory we were left extremely disappointed. Our drinks order took nearly 20 mins to arrive, we had actually ordered and received our starters before drinks arrived! The food was up to its usual standard so had no complaints there, however the service was non existent. Once we had received our mains, there was no follow up from staff to check if everything was ok and no offer of more drinks.
