"Spending the weekend in the area with family we wanted to find somewhere nice for dinner on Saturday evening. We came across the menus for The Queens Head and they showed plenty of choice and a good selection for all the family, with fish lovers, pizza lovers and gluten free options. Just a shame that the pub have not updated their website to show their very reduced menu!! No mention of this at all on the website, we struggled for options that were suitable for everyone. The waitress was very polite and friendly but service was very slow! Just an average pub at the end of the day, did not live up to expectations."

Whilst the service was relatively slow (could be that it was busy) the staff, atmosphere and food made up for it. A beautiful country pub with good ales, lovely staff and good food made it a great visit. Thank you

Really lovely food, the roast beef was very tasty, loads of veg and a great Yorkshire pud! Chicken schnitzel also very tasty. Very good value for money, made to feel really welcome, thank you for a great lunchtime visit.

Decide to have an impromptu dinner with a friend tonight. It was the pubs Greek Evening and I had Lamb Kofta followed by Beef Stifado. It was delicious so so tasty. Would recommend trying their themed evenings in the future

Superb, stopped here on the way back from our place at the coast, had a superb roast dinner along with a lovely dessert…kids enjoyed playing the board games the pub had. Finished off our meal with a walk in the garden so the kids could play in their play area. Oh and they sell a lovely pint of Harvey’s best….great pub, great staff, great food…would highly recommend A

Had a wonderful impromptu evening with my Mum at The Queens Head in Barns Green. The food was amazing. Beautifully presented and absolutely delicious!!! Also really good value. . The staff are so friendly and professional. We sat their chatting away listening to the rain pouring down outside and it felt lovely, relaxed and welcoming. I would highly recommend the pub.

Lovely location, gorgeous building.....food poor. We went as a party of 4, the smoked haddock was stone cold. When we complained the meal was taken away, reheated in the microwave and came back looking terrible. Having complained again were told there is nothing else they can do. What a shame as the location is gorgeous. My advice, get a new chef who knows how to actually cook.

Went with friends despite living close by had never been but will certainly return. It was full the staff very friendly the menu what I call pub food but good pub food, certainly value for money. Good selection to choose from it’s dog friendly. Garden for summer with children’s play area , so could be noisy. All in all good food good value will certainly return. Maybe book as was full on Friday lunch time also know they were full that evening.

"So, the first problem was the booking (and the exact same thing had happened the previous time we arrived at this restaurant with an Open Table booking). I had made the booking online and received confirmation both via email and in the OT app, which I could show at the restaurant. When I made the booking very limited times were available: nothing between 11.45am and 2pm, so we assumed the restaurant would be crowded. When we arrived a little before our 2pm booking, it was three-quarters empty and they had no record of my booking. Since the place was largely empty this didn't matter, but on another occasion it might have done. And maybe one reason the place was so empty was that other potential customers had also seen no availability between 11.45am and 2pm, so Cote had no online bookings. Either Open Table or Cote need to sort out what is wrong with their booking systems as it seems that in Horsham at least the systems do not talk to each other. The food was fine, typical Cote just as you would expect, but the service was disappointing. In a largely empty restaurant one might expect efficient and attentive service but we got nothing of the sort. It was hard to get attention from any server and we had to request some items several times. Someone who from her dress was probably the duty manager, spent most of her time lounging or chatting with other staff members rather than making sure customers got good service."
