The Red Lion - Carta

We had a terrific time at The Red Lion in Longdon Green for my birthday dinner with my family. The food was absolutely amazing and the service was top-notch. I highly recommend this restaurant and we will definitely be going back.

under new management. brunning and price have bought the pub of the breweries and have just done a 1.5 million renovation. it opens 15th august 2014. had a preview and his excellent, good eating, fab location definitiw worth visiting.

The recently refurbished Red Lion has a stunning atmosphere and dining experience. I was pleasantly surprised by the renovations to the beautiful property. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. Will definitely be returning to dine here again. Ver carta

When you have a cheeky night out expecting a plate of grub and actually get a Michelin star amazing experience wow …! Totally recommend the baked hake with just the most amazing flavours and my husband just had a huge smile eating the Feather of Beef Fantastic

One of the best pubs I’ve been to in a while. Everything was 5*, food was gorgeous and service was outstanding. Staff were really attentive, didn’t have to ask for anything as they were on it. Best service I have experienced in a very long time. Highly recommend

Visited here with friends yesterday. We booked a bar room as we had a dog with us. A bowl of water and dog biscuits were waiting for us. The service was excellent the staff were helpful and friendly. The food was great and all three of us enjoyed our starters and main. Sadly we were too full for pudding We will return. Ver carta

I am a frequent diner at this restaurant, as are my family members who live nearby. We always have a wonderful time here, with top-notch food and excellent service. The staff never rushes us, which is a nice change. The menu offers a variety of options, from starters to small plates to entrees. This restaurant is definitely one of my favorites.

Great food, shame about the housekeeping. The food here is lovely and so are the bar staff but The Red Lion was woefully in need of a bit of TLC last time we visited. No exactly sticky, but at the risk of sounding like Hyacinth Bucket it could definitely do with a good tidy up, nothing that a good DIY man couldn't handle Having said that, the pub itself is charming, the food (especially Sunday lunch) is really, really good and, if you're a bit more laid back than me about the slightly neglected exterior and wonky bog seat, you would have absolutely nothing to complain about here.

The food at this restaurant is excellent, but the service needs improvement and the garden has a bad smell. The recent renovation includes a beautiful extension that is tastefully decorated. The menu offers a wide variety of well-prepared dishes. However, two issues that need attention are the service and the odor in the garden. The staff is friendly and polite, but it seemed like we had different employees attending to us, which caused some confusion with our orders. It took 20 minutes for our drink order to be taken, and then there were mix-ups with our food and drink orders. Overall, the restaurant has great potential but needs to address these issues. Ver carta
