Fantastic local little pub situated in the country kinda. It’s gorgeous decorated interior and we love to visit this pub regularly now

First the good points, my partner and I enjoyed a delicious 3 course meal here on Christmas Day, the food was hot and plentiful, it exceeded our expectations...

Good meal value for money ordered two children’s meals £5.99 menu said you got cordial and ice cream never got offered cordial at all and had to go and ask after I’d paid for the meals for their ice creams Ver carta

Took a chance and booked Christmas Day lunch 2023. We live in Brigg and had only previously ate here once. Really pleased we did as everything was excellent. The food was amazing and staff friendly. What more could we ask, thank you.

Had a delicious Sunday Lunch and the pudding was amazing for a reasonable price too, proper home cooked everything. Lovely friendly staff, a real nice ambience. We were allowed to bring our dog in which was great. We will definitely be returning here as it was an all round pleasant experience. Very happy customers Highly Recommend x

Went for Sunday roast. It was lovely. The size of the piece of pork was huge. I had turkey and it was bootiful the roasties were fluffy inside but nice and crunchy outside. Food was nice and hot. Starters were lovely too. No room for puds so unable to comment. The member if staff serving was lovely and she had a sense of humour too. We will definitely be going back again xx Ver carta

Finding a location for a family Christening celebration after church is more difficult than it sounds. The Red Lion is a gem in the village, we had a short walk from the church and were welcomed warmly. Buffet food was excellent and the staff were very helpful even when asked for something specific like plain jam sandwich. Thank you for making the reception as part of a very memorable day.

6 of us went for Sunday dinner, the service was terrible waited over an hour for are sunday dinner, no apology or nothing, meat was nice, veg was hard, mash was nice, roast potatoes were cold if u actually got one 2 of us didn't get 1, no sauces offered like mustard, the pudding was nice so I was told but mine had been sold out even thou I ordered it 2 hrs before hand, I left with disgust yet again no apology, definitely will never go again.

Visited with friends and family after recommendation from people of Broughton walking and allotment group who attended a function over Christmas. Table readily available despite there being 8 of us. Room nicely decorated. Shame not to see more people dining. Food arrived in good time, presented well, portion sizes great and all reasonably priced. Children’s portion sizes were also big and of good quality. We will definitely recommend and will be visiting again. We did visit again the other evening to enjoy a drink by the cosy wood burner. People of Broughton and surrounding areas support your local pub! Ver carta
