"Six of us went there for dinner, the order was taken and 1 hour later I asked the waitress how much longer and she looked shocked and ran off ,The manager came to our table apollogized and said she had forgotten to put it through . So we had to wait another hour before it came out . then we ordered dessert apple crumble and custard the little jug they brought out had what looked like milk in it ? I asked what it was and was told they made some sort of mixture with egg as they didn't have custard !!! I explained I was allergic to eggs and they should not just serve anything they want without telling us first .or ask us for an alternative. So I asked for ice cream instead . The whole dinner experience was a complete disaster we waited 2 hours to eat we will not be recommending this pub to any one or coming back Even after the manager gave us a free drink each It did not compensate the bad service we had . I only gave 1 star for service but it's showing 5 stars that's rubish it won't let me change it so its 0 stars as far as im concerned ."

Came with my family for food and drinks. We all had roast dinners the potatoes were a big to solid, under cooked but other all was very enjoyable. We will go again

Stayed overnight on Sunday. Friendly staff, great food (roast) and good breakfast. Nice room with very comfortable, large bed and fluffy towels. Very dog friendly. Ver carta

Nice bar lunch on a cold winter’s day. Food and drink was perfectly acceptable and the surroundings were warm and comfortable. Chap who served us was very professional and welcoming.

Great place to take dogs, they are treated like royalty. Fantastic restaurant, amazing food with a great menu of excellent home cooked food. Carolyn could not have been more attentive even though we were running late nothing was to much trouble. Highly recommend.
