Visited this pub late on Saturday afternoon for a few drinks with friends for drinks and ended up having something to eat as well food was lovely cooked perfectly and drinks was equally as nice great service and helpful staff will definitely be back a little hidden gem big thanks to the landlord and lady Toni and Sharon for making it a great experience

Came to celebrate a 40th birthday. Very disappointed. Long wait on the food. Quite small portions. The grazer menu was really awful. The nachos were soggy and had no jalapeños or chives. Chicken wings and pork ribs very dry and tasteless. Had the dirty fries, again no taste. Other people at the table ate them due to the small portions. Drinks incredibly expensive, £10.50 for a beer and a glass of wine. Such a shame as the interior was lovely and cosy. Still got charged full price despite the fact most of my meal was left untouched.

We’re a group of crafters that also get together for lunch. We arrived around 10am and were shown to a lovely spacious room, where we had a lovely cuppa and did a little bit of crafting and a lot of chatting. We ordered our lunch just after 12 and were pleased to see gluten-free, dairy-free, and vegan options, all reasonably priced. The staff were very attentive and accommodating to our specific needs. The food was wonderful and was served quickly. There’s disabled parking, disabled toilets, and disabled entryway. We had so much fun we’re going back next week. All in all a brilliant family run establishment. Ver carta
