"Wow…where to start! The food was incredible every single item we ordered was delicious. You know it’s good when your whole table goes quiet when the food comes. We had seafood, steak, various starters and of course dessert (highly recommend the bread and butter pudding). The wine selection was also very good. The service! Every single staff member was warm, attentive and super accommodating. The venue lovely ambience, perfect for families, couples, groups of friends everyone was clearly enjoying themselves. We are already planning our next visit. If you’re staying at the Hanbury manor hotel/spa it’s a lovely little walk (10 mins). Don’t miss it! Thank you Maltons team"

"I wasn't sure quite what to expect when I went along to The Millstream. The first time I went, it had been a choice between plain salad or chips. However, I had heard that they were celebrating World Vegan Day- which in itself is a positive- so decided to go and check out the vegan menu for myself. The waitress was warm and welcoming, talking to me in depth about all allergens within the vegan menu- since I'm allergic to both gluten and soy as well- and was able to assure me that the entire menu is made from scratch by the chef, to give it a home cooked feel. The manager herself came to speak with me and we ended up conversing for a long time. She told me that if I called in advance, the chef would be more than happy to prepare me something not on the menu- such as a vegan cheese burger. She took pride in the fact that everything is made from scratch, and that they now provide vegan cheese which is selling well. The meal itself exceeded all possible expectations. I had a chickpea curry with rice, and a side of vegetable dahl. It was mild- but with a small and pleasant kick-, warming and filling. The seasoning was balanced and perfect, and it was a rare occasion in which I didn't need to add salt or pepper. All in all, I'd give the meal 10/10 and would recommend anyone and everyone to go along."

"I reserved a table for two on a Friday night for an early dinner. The restaurant was quite busy as the evening went on, making it very loud. We started with the bruschetta, which was not very impressive. My partner had the seafood ravioli, but it lacked sauce and was difficult to eat. I opted for the ham and cheese dish, which was also a bit dry. Overall, it was a mixed experience; I enjoyed the heavenly cake for dessert, which was good. My partner tried the Turkish dessert, a pastry drenched in hot syrup, which was tasty and very sweet. The menu had a decent range of options, but we’ve had better experiences at other Mediterranean restaurants."

"Great fish and chips with an extensive gluten free menu. The gluten free batter was better than most chip shop's regular batter which meant I could happily share with my gluten intolerant partner. The Samphire, Mushy peas and tartare sauce were top notch also. "Great Italian cuisine and really good value ! My wife and I went there for an anniversary meal and couldn't fault the food all of which arrived promptly and was piping hot, which I really liked. The restaurant itself looks a little plain inside with bare wooden tables and chairs and just a few scenic paintings on the walls, but in a way that was good because you didn't feel you were on airs and graces, so you could relax, The staff were very prompt and attentive and we were served quickly with no fuss. Between us we ordered a simple spaghetti bolognese and a canelloni, plus a side order of flatbread, all of which were delicious ! Considering that we had two drinks for starters, plus a glass of house red and an amaretto coffee to finish, the final bill was very reasonable, coming in at under £69 I thought that was really good value. This place is a little gem hidden up a side street in Ware but is well worth seeking out we will definitely go again !"
