I've been to one of the other Rum Kitchens which had a cool buzzy vibe to it so was expecting the same here. Invited as a +1 to the 'Private Bar' for the Ver carta

Kingly Court is one of my fav spots in Soho and rum and kitchen comes with it . Love the food, love the cocktails , the music and the general vibe. Veronica is a super star unique !!! recommendable

We popped into Rum Kitchen for a cocktail and it was fab. It was by chance- we were staying in a nearby apartment and had time to kill before we checked in but we ended up having a really nice time there. We had some...nibbles which were really tasty and a load of cocktails from the happy hour menu which were great value and delicious. Well worth a visit!

We visited Rum Kitchen with my friend on Monday night...The place looks great, food was very tasty, we had inferno wings which had a good kick of spicy flavour, and proper jerks for mains-nice huge portions. I have to recommend Mauritian happy hour which...tastes like Paradise....Our server was Nenad, who had a sense for details and made us laugh a couple of times and managed to make this evening memorable... many thanks... A recent dinner at The Rum Kitchen prompted me to finally write a review. I've been going here on off for about years now, but the service is yet to improve. Orders are often wrong, waiting staff are slow and inattentive and food...can come out all over the place... That being said I will always return because the food is good, the cocktails are nice and the vibe music makes for a decent night. It's such a shame management don't take reviews seriously, as clearly customer service continues to be an issue. I’ve heard people enjoy this place but on reflection it’s the same or every time. Had a friends meal here last night, all foodies all drinkers and we came to the conclusion that the chefs have had their taste and smell senses ruined...by rum and scotch bonnet. You don’t expect much subtlety with Caribbean food but dear god courses that are almost indistinguishable is a bit much. The chicken wings were a waste of chicken, it could have been cardboard. So stopped in to get my Caribbean fix, as I've been away from home. Now for a few months. I was welcomed by a really friendly hostess, who immediately informed me their CC machine wasn't working and could only take cash, I only came for...takeout so I placed my order with another lovely lady server, excellent service. Oh and the place was packed. I put my order in for my two beef patties and order a vx and coke (usual drink at home), of course in the UK you have to order doubles everywhere, expensive no ras for that.
