"We were a group of seven friends getting together for our annual college reunion. We didn 't know Highworth but found Ciao Eatalia and decided to try it that night. We were so pleased we did. Fabio was so good-natured and welcoming, as was the chef. The menu offered plenty of variety. Some of us had had a main meal earlier and only wanted starters but that didn 't disappoint him at all. Those of us who ordered mains were very pleased! I had Asparagus risotto which was full of asparagus, and beautifully cooked with creamy and tender arborio rice. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his 'Linguini Ciao Eatalia ', with Panna cotta for dessert. I had delicious profieroles filled with fresh cream and covered with a foaming chocolate sauce. Really enjoyable for everyone. Highwoth suited our needs perfectly, so we 'll be back next year and hope to eat there again! Such a pleasure! Thanks Fabio!"

"I visited this place with some friends for a couple of beers, looking to get away from the noisy pubs in Highworth. The bar area had a nice, laid-back atmosphere with people chatting and laughing, which added to the ambiance without overpowering our own conversation. The staff were friendly and promptly cleared our empty glasses. The owner was also present and took the time to speak to us, ensuring we were well taken care of, which was a nice gesture. Although I did not stay overnight, if the rooms are as good as the rest of the hotel, I would expect them to be clean and tidy."

"This pub caters for all. Mornings start with a real gutsy breakfast. Mid day brings a lunch time menu of home cooked favourites at astonishingly good prices and the choice of minimum 5 real ales which change day to day. Afternoon then clears the tables and the pub becomes a real ale drinkers paradise, with excellent wines for those of that persuasion. Tea time and the five o'clock club is busy and full of characters. The pub is busy then in the evenings. Live music occasionally. Meat draw on a Sunday at 4.00pm. Dogs and ramblers welcome. The landlady is credit to the licensed trade trying to deliver good quality at reasonable price, all with a smile. Well done Jill and Holly. All beers one price currently 3.30 not matter what the strength, why over complicate things. ps Hugo says thanks for the complimentary dog treats."

"Lovely pub in the pretty village of Coleshill. The Landlord and staff were both knowledgeable and very pleasant. It was quickly evident that the landlord was passionate about his food and drink. His enthusiasm for his menu was a breath of fresh air. I ordered the cheese board however this was not available however they had some British soft blue cheese, so this was offered. When l said how nice this cheese was the landlord brought out another blue cheese for me to try. The cheese is collected weekly from a specialist supplier. Very impressive! We will certainly return."

"We stayed two nights in two singles. Spacious rooms and nice comfy beds. A real bonus were the ceiling fans in the rooms: as ground floor rooms not wanting to open windows at night this was great. One room had walk in shower the other a shower over bath could do with a handrail though. Food in pub very good lasagne excellent and friendly helpful staff. They were doing very good trade on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings we were there so obviously a popular place with locals. Very quiet even though just off A420. The rooms are away from the main pub set around a courtyard so very nice and quiet and private. Only downside is the paving in the courtyard and on approach to rooms is VERY loose and wobbly: tricky to walk on especially as one of us has a balance problem. Otherwise we had a very pleasant stay and excellent value at £45 a night. (We provided our own breakfast as they don't serve until 10.00 a.m. which was too late for us, but that was no problem."
