Very welcoming and great service. I had lamb rump perfectly cooked pink, whole dish was amazing. Would highly recommend for food or to stop for a drink.

Great food and friendly staff. While some of the pubs may appear a bit worn, and the service was a bit slow on the weekend evening during our visit, I believe it would still suit many diners. Overall, it's a reliable choice for a good meal. Ver carta

Met my cousin and his lovely wife here for lunch today , I had roast beef and the other three had pork belly , food was lovely , served with a lovely selection of vegetables , managed a dessert too ! , staff were very attentive and the service was excellent , would definitely visit again , might be a while though as we live over 300 miles away !

This is a lovely pub restaurant with an intriguing menu, especially for a quieter season. The service is friendly and cheerful, and the dishes are both creative and well-prepared. They also offer a good selection of wines, all at reasonable prices. Overall, it was an excellent experience. We’ll definitely return next time we’re in the area without hesitation. Ver carta

amazing local pub! rustic, spacious and welcoming. the menu is smart with many vegetarian and vegan options. it looks as though usually food is made from scratch, which they even bake their own sourdough. I tried veggie burger and it was very tasty (a little lack of seasoning, which is easy to fix) the bungalow was fantastic and tweeper / kartoffeln handcuff. the list of wine and drinks is great and they will find some new flavors and producers, not only the typical pub selection.

Now, let's talk about the food, which was genuinely among the best we've ever had. My stepdad started with the Arancini Crab Balls, and he couldn't stop raving about how delicious they were. For his main course, he had the Hake, which he described as the best fish he's ever tasted in his life, and that's saying a lot since he is a huge fish lover! My mom is vegan, and she was thrilled to find a well-crafted, fully vegan meal that she absolutely loved. As for me, I opted for the lamb rump, and it was some of the best lamb I've ever had—cooked to perfection and served with a fantastic sauce.
