It’s been over 20years since we last visited the Siding. It was like stepping back in time. Although it now has different owners we received the same warm welcome and helpful staff which was lovely.

We have been here a few times and every time the food is incredible. The train carriages are really quirky and make you feel like you are travelling on the Northern Belle. Great staff would recommend to everyone. Ver carta

Had such a wonderful time at The Sidings Hotel. The staff were amazing, the room was beautiful and the food was excellent. If you enjoy trains and great food this is a must. I definitely will be back to stay here again.

What a lovely place in York, you can sit and enjoy a delicious meal in one of their train carriages and watch all the different trains go past. The food is excellent and the service is great. If you are looking for a unique experience, this place is highly recommended.

This place is fantastic! However if you don 't like trains, or the noise of trains, think carefully if you intend to stay over, after all you are right next to the 'East Coast Mainline ' from York to the North, and the trains run 24hrs. The staff, the food, the ambience and the overall feel of 'The Sidings ' is amazing. I have never met such friendly, passionate and wonderful people before. You can tell they really love this place. I opted to stay for 2 nights, but I enjoyed the experience so much I extended it to 3 nights. These guys really do go out of their way to make you feel welcome and valued. Cannot recommend 'The Sidings ' highly enough. Will definitely be rebooking in the future, p... Ver carta
