Lovely staff every time I go there,the only reason I gave 3 star for atmosphere is spoons is spoons,its a place to talk

I love spoons in blackwood, but someone should really mention that poppadoms should not fold without snapping. Every time. Its become a running joke in my family.

Great atmosphere, good service and the wee Scotsman was a dream. Wonderful. Highly recommend. Only problem with Witherspoon's is the stairs, but they have a lift. Ver carta

I had a meeting with a client here, it was my first time visiting. The atmosphere was ok but they need sound deadening on the walls ceiling. Staff member who served me didn’t know what Earl Grey tea was and thought it was some sort of cocktail.

Food was disappointing, ordered an All Day Brunch and it was cold. Eggs were overcooked, cold and dry. We had to send the whole meal back, and looking around the room we were not the only ones. Staff were however very apologetic and understanding. They did send us fresh hot food and it was delicious.

First we ordered coffee the coffee machine wasn’t working we had to wait 15mins before someone filled it with milk the area was dirty no sugar sweetners our meal came i sent it back there was no fish it was all batter the bread was like toast where it had been under the lamp for so long when my meal come back it was totally different my granddaughter had ham she thought it was bacon it was that dry from being under the lamp the sauces were all empty the poor waitress was rushed off her feet but so lovely it was a disaster wont certainly eat there again Ver carta

Good price and nice food It probably depends on who is on shift, but I'd say that 80% of the time the plates come nice and warm, with hot food. Sometimes, it can come on cold plates, with stone cold food, and it looks dry. I'm not sure how they store the food, but it reminds of the food cabinets in McDonald's, where it can dry out if it's been in there too long. It happens infrequently, though Staff are extremely polite, and they are happy to try and fix any issues you're having. Very good customer service On a rare occasion, there can be drunk young men looking for a fight, but that, again, is quite rare for me, personally

I 've been here plenty of times before but never experienced someone so rude as Shantel the manager or so I 'm told. This woman came to address an issue with the bacon as it looked like it was cut fresh off the pig. (This was on the 8th of July 2023). When she approached my girlfriend and I, she began to lecture us on how the bacon was pre cooked before arriving to site. I accepted this but still wanted the issue resolved, which was hard enough. She needs a good lesson in manners! Then once I was made to pay the difference on an item that would replace my unedible sandwich, she lectured me again on how I should just deal with it because of how hard it is working in hospitality, boo hoo... he...

Well, my personal experience here was bad. I will not return here no more. 1st time here and having food too. I googled Sunday dinners and this place showed up. I got there and they didnt do Sunday dinners. I ordered a double cheeseburger with fries and a coke. The waiter brought my food. Did not even greet me. Just put the plate on my table and walked away. No enjoy your meal or told me where the sauces were incase I needed them. I had to go get a microscope to see my burger. Tiny thing. The chips were around 20 of them. The burger was wrong.
