We had a wonderful meal at The Spread Adler in Sawley. It's a very beautiful place!

This is our second visit to the Spread Eagle at Sawley. We loved it the first time, and it was just as fantastic this time around. The food is amazing, and the rooms are very comfortable. The staff are extremely friendly, helpful, and professional. I would recommend it to anyone!

Service was dreadful, steak burger was cremated, fish was still swimming and my steak was still mooing. When asked to fix this problem we was given mucky looks like it was a task to fix our food. I had a wonderful birthday lunch on Saturday. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed. The restaurant looks fantastic, and the staff provided exceptional service. The food was superb, especially the lamb, and the prices were very reasonable. I wish we had brought our dogs with us, as they have a dog menu that looks great. We'll definitely be back next time!

This restaurant is great for family gatherings. The facilities are excellent and the service is commendable. The food is very good overall, although there was an unfortunate incident where someone accidentally spilled an entire salt shaker into the mashed potatoes, which should have been caught in the kitchen. It was a pity because the rest of the meal was well-prepared and beautifully presented. The drinks were good, although the service and cleanup could have been a bit faster. I would definitely recommend the back room, which offers a stunning view of the river. Overall, I'd rate the service at 4 out of 5.

Had a great overnight stay at the Spread Eagle Inn at Sawley, after a lovely afternoon walk from the pub front door (leaflets are available at the bar) we checked in about 4pm. We received a friendly welcome on arrival then we were directed to our room, the whole of the building was spotlessly clean, tidy and well maintained, looked as though it had had a recent refurb. Our room was the same, warm comfortable and very clean including the bathroom. The food in the restaurant was great both for dinner and breakfast, the staff were amazing and really looked after us, nothing was too much trouble. We’ll definitely be returning. Ver carta
