The Stables - Carta

Lovely food. Nice relaxed atmosphere and lovel staff. We visit regularly as we are not too far away. Definitely worth the drive there

My wife and I went for lunch as we do every 2 or 3 weeks. We were expecting the normal experience, which I have rated as 5 several times, but were surprised to find that it now has new owners.

My wife and I have eaten in The Stables several times a month for some years and have never been disappointed. On one occasion, we took guests with very particular dietary requirements no problem, no hassle! Ver carta

This place is a little gem. They make a wonderful breakfast, and the staff are so welcoming, I plan to return. A very interesting place, as there is a court yard with other businesses. It is well worth a visit.

This is a lovely rustic cafe that I visit quite a lot. The food is excellent, freshly made using locally grown ingredients. The log burner keeps the interior cosy and the service is good. Breakfast was delicious, particularly the sausage and granary toast.

Stumbled across The Stables and very pleasantly surprised when we stepped inside. Rustic surroundings with friendly staff and delicious produce on offer. I traveled all the way from Australia to visit my family who live in Cotesbach. We decided to have lunch at this restaurant and were pleasantly surprised by the hospitality of the new owners. Although the menu is limited to mainly breakfast items, the sandwiches were excellent and the coffee was good too. The prices were very reasonable. I would recommend giving it a try. The restaurant may still be waiting for their license to be approved.

We have visited this restaurant before for their delicious breakfast, which we absolutely adore. However, on this particular Sunday, we decided to skip breakfast and opt for their amazing Sunday roast instead. My husband tried three different meats, while I chose the beef. The food was excellent, and we were able to have as much as we wanted, with the option to go back for more if desired! The best part is the incredible value at only £8.95.

The atmosphere of our past experiences was no longer present at the restaurant, and the diverse craft food options we had enjoyed before were now missing. The walls were now empty without the artwork that used to decorate them. Even the outdoor seating seemed less inviting. Despite these changes, we may have still chosen to dine there if it hadn't been for the bothersome flies that were buzzing around. We were surprised to not see a commercial electric fly zapper in sight which could have helped solve the issue. Ver carta
