In short ‘The Standard’ is amazing. The menu looked great, the food was delicious and the service was on point. Fantastic cocktails great atmosphere. Will definitely be going back.

great place for lunch. the personal is wonderful, polite and attentive. chips are perfect and eating was faultless. loughton needs such places. luxe was a dive, but this place was recommended.

My boyfriend and i have been here on a few occasions, not only are the staff so friendly but also attentive to all your needs. The food is cooked beautifully. Left this evening feeling very satisfied, never knew a burger could taste so good!!

Only popped in on a Friday eve for a bottle of wine with a friend where we was greeted by very friendly and assertive staff ..offered us a table even though we were not eating on this occasion and bought over our wine..Will defo be returning x

I love coming here, the cocktails are unrealistic! the brunch menu is to die as well as a fabulous lunch and dinner menu! Sunday roast is also amazing and they can not go wrong with the trio of meat I visit the standard regular and never have a bad experience - highly recommended!

had a nice evening with some friends, this was our first visit enjoyed the music selection, even if it was a little loud, would recommend to lower the ton height a little, so people can speak very helpful staff, good eating, impressed by the wine selection, loved the homemade apple cake, overall a very pleasant evening will go again.

I must say the standard is exactly what Loughton high road needed! Have been there twice now once for lunch and the other for dinner and it's only been open a couple of days. The food is fantastic and the service is very professional, with a high STANDARD running throughout the restaurant. Highly recommend for any occasion, be it a casual lunch or a fancy dinner... 10/10
