"Visited this restaurant today at 1.15pm. Yes this was off speck, but we did not expect to be treated verbally the way we were. The huge sign outside the place clearly stated open between 12 3pm so our hopes were high. We waited close to the bar, which was not being attended. We were totally ignored by a member of staff who walked past several times., not even “ I will be with you shortly. “ Yes there were 4 tables in a small nearby room. One being vacated, one, people were already eating at, and the other was giving member staff their order. Also the bar area was empty, except a couple already snacking at one of the four tables, So when the lady came to us and very brusquely said “ yes “ we were hopeful, but how wrong were we. We were told in no uncertain terms that the place was full, and that in 3/4 hour they we’re expecting 20 people for lunch, so there was no way at all !! That they could serve us. So as you might guess we left feeling rather annoyed by the reception we had received. It was totally unnecessary and very rude. We left drove to The Fleece, Bungay, and had a extremely good lunch even though we had to wait for a short while until a table was vacated"

Went to the Swann with Family members service and food superb will definitely make a return visit when next in locality

Decided to visit the Swan for the first time and we were delighted at the good service and food. The Swan is definitely on the visit again list.

Our family went to the swan to celebrate our daughters birthday. It was a brilliant meal which we all enjoyed. Will definitely return in the future.

Fantastic meal, (lots of it), great servers lovely surroundings. What more can I say? Reasonably priced loads of parking. Massive thumbs up all round.

Very disappointed! Rude staff. Ignored when we walked in, too busy standing behind bar chatting with other staff joking while on their phones. Brought out the wrong meals, I was told ‘I don’t get things wrong!’ Was looking forward to an end of month treat. Miss the blonde lady

Our first visit with friends that had been before. FABULOUS Staff, Food, Venue all excellent. The Beer Battered Haddock Cod, EXCELLENT. Adult eating Childs portion of Lasagne (as regular portion they had had before was too much) The Hunters Chicken was SUPERB (my Husbands words)

A 2 night stay was quite enough. The room was over priced. The bathroom was freezing. The towels smelt of stale food. No drinking glasses. The lighting was dreadful. Not a place I would recommend to stay. The food, however was good, although no breakfast menu. Staff pleasant enough.

We went on Sunday about 4pm, it was still extremely busy. No problems getting a table. The meat of beef and pork was tender and delicious. Great selection of vegetables all well cooked. The staff were efficient and helpful. It is probably one of the best places locally to get a Sunday roast. Still good value at £14.
