"This is possibly the most dog-friendly pub we have ever been to. We pre-booked for Saturday lunch for six people with four dogs. Good job we did as the rest of the tables were quickly taken. At one point there were nine dogs in there. No problem for the pub. There is another bar, I am not sure what the dog situation is in there, so if you are dog-phobic, I would recommend contacting the pub in advance to see what the score is. We had a lovely lunchtime pint here. It is a lovely village pub. If I were to be critical, it would only be to say (like most of my school reports) that there is real untapped potential.

We had a wonderful dining experience! We attended the charity BBQ and finished with dessert from the pub. The food was delicious, the beer was excellent, and the atmosphere was very inviting. It made for a lovely afternoon, especially after a long week. Our two dogs also enjoyed the water dishes and the garden.
