Although the pudding was not perfect, we appreciated the discount we were offered on our bill. The wine list is extensive and reasonably priced. The dining room, located in the conservatory, provides a lovely view of the garden. We have visited multiple times and have always experienced consistently good quality and service."

I had lunch at this restaurant on a Sunday before attending the Duxford American Air Show with some American friends. I had discovered this place by accident some time ago and it was so good that it felt like a perfect choice for our visitors. And it was.

What could be better than in the company of loved ones in a restaurant with a menu from which the most important lady in your life says she could choose anything, food that corresponds to the description and 'off the beaten track' wines from the southwest through the glass or through the bottle to bathe the experience?

Exciting and innovative fish-focused menu, featuring specialties that have been carefully crafted for the discerning local foodies. While not exceptional, the restaurant holds its own against others in the area. The menu still offers some good locally sourced options, but the potential for a more unique selection seems to have been overlooked.

Great quirky place to visit for a nice lunch or evening meal. Good choice of food on the menu, and exceptionally fresh and tasty well presented food. The only let down on this occasion was the service from start to finish was incredibly slow, hence why we didn't bother waiting any longer ordering deserts. Hopefully this was a one off and will return again one day.
