The Treehouse - Carta

We were staying at The Bruntsfield Hotel up the road and really fancied pancakes for breakfast. I can 100% guarantee you'll like what you find at The Treehouse. Bacon and Maple Syrup pancakes filled us up for the whole day!

Lovely small cafe in Bruntsfield. Staff is excellent very friendly. Lots of pancakes, porridges and savouries (including sandwiches, bagels, paninis and salads) to choose from. Reasonably priced as well. Definately recommended.

We stopped off for a breakfast what a fabulous surprise . I had the pancakes they’re an absolute must!! The cappuccinos are also worth the wait . Love this restaurant if you have a chance go there for a light breakfast or lunch on your way past the meadows Ver carta

I had a wonderful breakfast at this cafe. The croissant with smoked salmon was fresh and tasty, and the pancakes with berries were delicious. The cappuccino was also very tasty, and the food came out quickly. Overall, it was a great experience at this charming cafe.

I always get the pancakes with speck and maple syrup when I eat here, tastes so good and is a beautiful big part! the first time I tried that the pancakes were still in the middle slightly raw (they are thick pancakes,) but every other time they were perfect! great for lunch or breakfast and beautiful and bright inside

I have visited the treehouse cafe on two occasions and they have both been excellent times! Ive got the pancakes both times (nutella and banana) and they are 10/10. So delicious and such a good portion size. The prices are amazing for Edinburgh and they even offer student/blue light discount. Will definitely be back and can't recommend this place highly enough to pancake lovers! Ver carta

I had a fast breakfast of porridge and granola with yogurt at this restaurant. The pricing is fair, and the oats are made in the microwave. The fruit for the granola was frozen, but it still tasted good and was a good value. The ambiance is pleasant, with free wifi and delicious cakes available. Overall, a nice place to have breakfast with a side view of the park. What more could you ask for?

Have been twice in the last couple of weeks. First time I had the home made granola which was gorgeous. Last week I got the pancakes with berries, yoghurt and honey. Similar to a quite awful dish I had in what was supposed to be an actual pancake restaurant a week before. But this was utterly gorgeous and a fraction of the price. Lovely coffee too a friendly service. There are great places like this in Edinburgh. Support them and give the money grabbing chains a miss.

Always look at supporting local business and found a new cafe while in Edinburgh. That nice, we came twice! Very clean and tidy, bright inside as a corner cafe, large windows on both sides make it very bright and warm inside. The menu offers a reasonable choice of breakfasts and lunch menu. 1st day had the scrambled eggs and bacon on sour dough toast with a coffee and following day the bacon sandwich with a coffee while my partner went for the homemade granola, mixed fruit and yoghurt with a green tea. Staff were very tentative and friendly and we'll certainly come back again. Ver carta
