The Trent Port - Carta

We decided to try breakfast for the first time since the renovation, and we were impressed! The place looks fantastic, the staff is friendly, and the breakfast was excellent.

I visited on Thursday evening for a "dry run" before the official opening, and I have to say I was impressed. The revamped space looks great, the food is delicious, and the service was excellent. Well done!

Staff very helpful. Food spot on. Exellent pizza. Went well with free chips and salad. My only criticism would be the beer. We had 2 shandys and they were undrinkable! But will still be going back as very satisfied with everything else! Ver carta

Went to the revamp launch last night, great changes including much more space, and nice new disabled facilities. Had the mushroom starter, very nice and shared a great hot and spicy pizza. Staff excellent, very attentive and will be back to try the breakfast and the Carvery.

I went with my family and had a fantastic experience at the carvery. All the vegetables were fresh and tasted homemade. My youngest daughter really enjoyed her buttermilk chicken burger and added some salad and vegetables from the carvery station to her plate. The staff were friendly and pleasant, and we will definitely be returning soon. A big thumbs up from us!

Went for a carvery lunch, plenty of space and seating as quite late. Plenty of food available and displayed well. Good joice of size of portions from small, normal and large. Very good value for money. My only comment is that the vegetables could have been hotter. Lot's of vegetables and extras to choose. Lovely lemon pudding was excellent and not too big. I have visited this restaurant many times before and recently returned after they won a competition. I was excited to check out the new changes! There’s so much more space now, the staff is friendly, and the food quality is excellent in a pleasant atmosphere. I also noticed it was much busier, which is fantastic for such a spacious and affordable place that could easily be overlooked. I will definitely come back—thank you once again!

I had a burger, a pizza, and a baguette during a night out, and even with the place being busy, the wait time was short. The prices were very reasonable, and everything we ate was delicious. We also ordered a side of chips and a fresh salad, both of which were fantastic. I will definitely return to Trent Port for another meal, although my granddaughter insists that we dine there again so she can have ice cream for dessert, and I suppose I’ll have to try a dessert too. Thank you for a wonderful meal!

Booked a table with ease using the app. Was greeted by polite and helpful staff. We were shown to our table and an explanation was given as to how to order food or drink either at the bar or by using the app. We chose the carvery and it was very tasty with plenty of choice of fresh veg etc to choose from. There are plenty of other dishes available if you didn't fancy a carvery. It is wheelchair accessible and there is ample parking. The restaurant was clean and tidy and had a pleasant ambiance. (I think they also do a take away if required and maybe deliver although I think this is done through a 3rd party) Tom, keep up the good work. Ver carta
