The Triton Inn - Carta

Brilliant pub, really good service quality food. We had chicken Kiev which was beautiful, home made and well cooked. The burger was the best I've ever had. Great desserts too.

Had a great Sunday lunch at The Triton Inn, the food was delicious and the staff were very friendly. We enjoyed the banter with Lance and he provided excellent service. We will definitely return.

Amazing pub, the most friendly welcoming atmosphere and the Sunday lunch was terrific. We visited with our puppy and had such a lovely time. If you’re in the area I couldn’t recommend this pub more!! Ver carta

Lovely Sunday lunch after a visit to Sledmere Farm. Excellent food, good selection of beers and great service, all in a warm and welcoming traditional pub. Thanks to Tony for helping us out with a small issue we had with our car!

A great pub. almost from a past age (its splendid motto is 'Unspoilt by progress ' with a lot of variety on the menu, which is a long way from modern standard 'pub fare. ' I had a very good Pork Diane, and my wife an equally good Smoked Haddock Mornay. The portions were very generous, the beer good and the welcome excellent.

We popped in after a day at sledmere house. We hadn't booked so we were pleased when they found us a table. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious, proper portions, and piping hot. We had heard good things about this place before we went and it certainly did not disappoint. So glad we visited, we would definitely recommend it but probably best to book as it does seem to get busy. Ver carta

My daughter had booked a table here for a family Sunday lunch which happened to be st Patrick’s day we were greeted by friendly staff and shown to our table in the bar an drinks order was taken after our food order was taken we weren’t waiting very long before we were brought our meals with separate vegetables and jugs of gravy all our meals were absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection with not a single complaint : puddings were scrumptious too fantastic little pub super friendly staff and the most delicious food what more do you want :D

Popped in her , thinking I would not have to book , well unlucky for us we should have booked . On walking in it was a full house , but lucky for us they had a no show ,.The pub was cosy , tables set out nicely , not too close to each other . I ordered the gammon , my husband ordered the pork , all I can say is the food was served hot it was so very tasty , i know your thinking it was only gammon and Pork but it was all cooked to perfection and it tasted amazing ! Thank you so so much we will be back with friends ! This was the best bar meal we have ever had , believe me we have had a lot of bar meals over the years . Thank you for the amazing service wonderful chef !

We had an excellent Sunday lunch at the Triton yesterday as part of a party celebrating my brothers 70th birthday. My wife is in a wheel chair, and the disabled access to the main bar restaurant at the Triton is excellent. Yesterdays meal however was in a function room at the front of the building which is accessed by a corridor including two steps. Initially this looked as if it may be a problem but the staff came up with the idea of opening the front door so we could go round and enter the building that way thus avoiding the steps.
