For 2 meals and 2 drinks which came to over £50 I was very unsatisfied. I don’t like to complain as the staff may have been up against it and the fact it was raining may possibly have meant they waited to bring the food out which meant that’s why it was a bit cold? Lovely chilled atmosphere on a rainy day. Didn't mind our pooch on a cummfy chair. The best thick cut ham free range eggs and chips ever. Top shelf. Price per person: £30–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

My wife and I have just shared a 'luxury fish pie '. It 's quite possibly the best fish pie I 've ever had. Really generous amount of flaky smoked fish and king Prawns nder mashed potatoes with melted cheese. Lovely

Excellent atmosphere, friendly warm welcome. Dog friendly Unfortunately kitchen is currently closed until March, but we were able to buy takeaway and sit in and eat, plates and cutlery were happy supplied. Would definitely visit again

The safe are lovely,the food is unbelievable,compliments to the chef, we had steak and ale pie,mash and green beans, I had fish pie with green beans, if you going to look for a warm friendly pub this is the one to go to, 5big thank you to the staff.
